Are you Carnatic enthusiasts who enjoy listening to traditional Indian instruments? Well, we’ve got exciting news for you!

Following last year’s success of Nityataa: An Evening Of Traditional Indian Music Appreciation, they are once again all set to amuse their fans with a double treat this time.

Thrive Talent Tank is helming Nityataa Reimagined: An Evening of Classical Indian Music and Dance, an enthralling la danse classical musical night which will see national-level participation by musicians and dancers from 9 states from Peninsular Malaysia for the first time. This heavenly classical recital will be held on the 28th and 29th of October 2022 at Shantanand Auditorium, KL.

Nityataa Reimagined 2022 will feature 10 music art forms such as Carnatic vocals, Veena, Carnatic violin, Mridangam, Ghatam, Ganjira, Morsing, Kunnakol, Sitar and the Tabla. For dance, they will feature 4 different dance forms which include Barathanatyam, Kuchipudi, Odissi, and Kathak.

The show is set to 15-minute segments of 6 music and 4 dance shows on each day ending with another 15-minute finale. Each show day will feature different segments and performers so everyone is encouraged to attend both days to savour everything the fraternity has to offer, in one seating.

Nityataa Reimagined is a full-featured production which is supported by Yayasan Hasanah and the Ministry of Finance Malaysia. The production is by Thrive Talent Tank, a leading talent management and arts branding company in Malaysia. The idea is conceived by its Managing Director, Dr Sivabalan S. Shanmuga Sundram, a pharmacist by day and a senior Carnatic music practitioner in Malaysia by night.

Nityataa Reimagined is a follow-up from the record-breaking sold-out show which was held in December 2021 entitled Nityataa, incidentally also supported by Yayasan Hasanah and CENDANA then.

Last year, Nityataa saw 27 participating musicians from Klang Valley alone, post-pandemic. This year, Nityataa Reimagined takes on all the positive notes from last year’s production and will now be focusing on both music and dance.

Nityataa Reimagined 2022 like its predecessor show in 2021, choose to showcase all these various schools/ individuals from the various states and its artists who are of performance calibre. Coupled with a production unit, this show is set to enthral concertgoers both music and dance. Thrive Talent Tank, well known for organizing shows of all music genres which include, rock, pop and even comedy understand the need of portraying classical art forms as a major point of propagation and sustenance of heritage and culture. More so in today’s world, the relevance of the practice of arts and culture for the younger generations must be inculcated.

Thrive Talent Tank warmly welcomes everyone to join and watch their celestial classical rendition.
