Yet another proud moment indeed!
The fact that Gen Z is incredibly wise and independent is quite astounding. Consequently, many have demonstrated their skills and talents in many competitions.
With that being said, Tanusya Manimuttu clinched the 2nd Runner-Up spot after competing three rounds at the 6th Canada International Youth Public Speaking and Debate Tournament, which was held virtually on the 22nd of October 2022.
The Canada International Youth Public Speaking and Debate Tournament emphasizes the vital importance of youth participation and leadership, thus empowering young individuals to achieve greater confidence in their future growth.
Themed “Your New World”, this contest is open to youth aged 6-17 of all nationalities, with the organisation’s aim to help every youth achieve their personal best.
The 14-year-old scholar from SMK Damansara Utama was highly commended by the judges for her commitment level, deeming her dedication who stretched out of her comfort zone and participated in the Pacific Time Zone event from 11pm – 8am (MY time) to display her public speaking skills with other students across the globe.
Furthermore, the organisation extended an invitation to her and her family to attend the Awards Ceremony in Canada on 28th October 2022.
A big kudos to Tanusya for hailing Malaysia’s flag in the second-largest country in the world!
