The jury panel, Datuk Ramli MS, said that the singer who scored 85.6 percent deserved to win the title because she managed to give the best performance in both the solo and battle segments. Jaclyn took the challenge and sang ‘It’s All Coming Back to Me Now’ originally sung by Celine Dion and ‘The Real Slim Shady’ (Eminem) and ‘Sang Saka Biru’ (Joe Flizzow, Alyph, Altimet, and Sonaone) in a rap round with the group V.E.

According to Malaysiakini, Jaclyn needs enough time to rest before resuming her career as a singer. She also said throughout the duration of GV9 she gave her all to the preparation of the show and had to sacrifice time with her children. Jaclyn would like to spend this break with both angels, Jonah Joshiah Rivera, 7, and Molly Marguerita Rivera, 5.
