Will Smith Congratulates Ranveer Singh On His Film ‘Gully Boy’

Actor Will Smith has taken it to Instagram to congratulate Ranveer Singh for his latest film ‘Gully Boy’. Ranveer plays a 22-year-old disenfranchised youth  from the slums of Mumbai who dreams of becoming a rap star. The Zoya Akhtar movie has become an instant global sensation with it’s gritty storyline and impeccable cast of actors, which includes Alia Bhatt, Kalki Koechlin and Siddhant Chaturvedi.

In a short Instagram story, Hollywood actor Will Smith said, “Yo Ranveer! Congrats man. I am loving what you doing. Gully Boy. I have seen old school hip hop, seen hip hop all over the world. I am loving it. Go get it.”

Gully Boy, which is inspired based on actual life events of rappers Vivian Fernandes and Naveed Shaik, is a massive hit in its home turf and internationally. The film is expected to join the ‘Rs 100 crore-club’ within the next couple of days.
