Thunivu has been one of the most trending topics on social media ever since the film was announced. There’s no doubt that all of Ajith’s fans all around the world are on cloud 9 upon hearing back-to-back updates about his upcoming movie, Thunivu.
Ajith Kumar’s next film ‘Thunivu’ will storm the screens on Pongal on the 11th of January 2023. This forthcoming action entertainer marks the star’s third collaboration with director H Vinoth and producer Boney Kapoor. H Vinoth has so far directed Ajith in three films; Nerkonda Paarvai, Valimai, and Thunivu – over the course of five long years.
The incredibly brilliant filmmaker divulged some fascinating information on the widely anticipated flick.
Director H Vinoth says the huge fame that has come his way after directing Ajith in three films hasn’t affected him much, and it is evident from the way he talks with an affable candidness and without mincing words or opinions. The director is now busy with post-production and promoting the film.
Vinoth responds, “Any professional connection would come with its own set of misunderstandings,” when questioned about his relationship with one of the biggest names in Tamil film.
“Sometimes my suggestions would be right, sometimes his would be right. However, it is all about the trust he has in me and I have in him. This understanding between us (Ajith and him) is the reason for the five-year-long journey together,” he said.
Vinoth responds, “It never escalated to such major disputes when I was asked to give an example of one such exchange. Our chats have always flowed naturally. If he has a great proposal, I will consider it. Similarly, if I tell him something, if he has a problem, he would ask me to think about it again. But if I tell him it would work the second time, he would agree. That’s how it has been with Ajith sir. What matters is how convinced I am with my decisions.”
Every day, there are many speculations were floating about the entire film.
H Vinoth squelches the speculations by stating, “It’s is not anything that you have been hearing on social media. People are assigning genres and tags like ‘the biggest action film’, ‘the biggest action thriller’ etc. It’s nothing like that. We would have seen money heist thrillers in Hollywood and even Ajith sir’s Mankatha is an example. But Thunivu is different from all of that. It is a multi-genre commercial film with songs and fights. It is about money.
“To put it short, it’s a game of the wicked.” the director wrapped.
Now, that sound’s like a promising banger movie.
In addition to this, the first song from AK’s movie titled Chilla Chilla, which has been penned by Vaisagh and sung by Anirudh in Ghibran’s music is set to be released on the 9th of December 2022.
Thunivu’s distribution rights for Malaysia were bagged by Malik Streams Corporation. Don’t worry as we will keep you updated with the cinema listings, stay tuned.
Let’s all enjoy the comeback of AK next year on the big screen.
