SS Rajamouli’s RRR has created history by becoming the first-ever Asian song to win the Golden Globes Awards. His epic hit RRR was nominated in two categories at the 80th Golden Globes and won Best Original Song for Naatu Naatu.

It missed out on the Best Non-English Language Film which was won by Argentina, 1985 from Argentina.
The Golden Globes ceremony is being held at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.
Present at the award ceremony were the RRR director and stars – SS Rajamouli, Jr NTR, and Ram Charan who is accompanied by his wife Upasana Kamineni. Jr NTR and Ram Charan played the role of freedom fighters Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seetharamaraju in the period drama, set as the British-occupied India in the 1920s. The cast includes Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn as well as British actors Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody, and Olivia Morris.
