Netizens Amazed At Indian Aunty’s Fluent Kelantan Dialect

There have been plenty of stories of Malaysians being able to speak different languages fluently. But have you witnessed stories of Malaysians mastering and being so fluent in the Malaysian language that has various dialects in it? 

Recently, a TikTok video of a Malaysian Indian woman speaking Kelantanese gained traction as netizens were impressed with her fluency in the language.

The video features a mother explaining the “daun cekur manis” to her son. And what shook the netizens is when she explained it in Kelantanese.

It is believed that the family actually resides in Kelantan and therefore familiar with the local dialect. The TikTok video received 29.4k likes, and 1317 comments and was shared 1117 times.
