Dr Malar Santhi Santherasegapan Receives The Nona Health Influencer Award 2022

What makes someone to be a good influencer? It’s the way on how they engage with people and the kind message or content that they delivers to the community.

Having that said, the beautiful persona, Dr Malar Santhi Santherasegapan who majorly gained fame in social media platform mainly on Tik Tok for sharing health education, have recently been bestowed with an award.

Fondly known for her eloquent fluency in the Malay language, Dr Malar conferred with the Nona Health Influencer Award at the Nona Superwoman Award 2022.

Nona Superwoman Award 2022 recognizes the excellence and contribution of women by bestowing them with different categories from various careers. In total of 50 individuals from various fields receive awards in 48 different categories at this award ceremony.

Sharing this happy news with everyone, Dr Malar posted a heartfelt message upon receiving this great recognition.

The mother of two expressed her sincere gratitude to all of her loyal followers, her educators, her family, and also her husband, who has always been through thick and thin with her throughout her journey, supporting and encouraging her.

She also dedicates this award to all the housewives out there, mentioning her mom as well.

“Hopefully mothers who work all year without pay and without leave like my mom will be given this kind of award one day, maybe @majalahnona can consider for next year,”

“With this award, comes a great responsibility, and I promise and I am determined to give the best for all of you as a Health Influencer,” the passionate doctor pledged.

Dr Malar who works in the emergency department at one of the private hospitals became viral on social media due to her ability to share information about the COVID-19 pandemic, vaccinations, and health issues in fluent Malay through social media.

She has been sharing her knowledge in a way that could make everyone understand easily. The fluency of her Malay is definitely a plus point that gets her a huge fan base on socials.

Among the award winners were Toh Puan Ragad Kurdi Taib who received the Nona VIP Award and Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza who grabbed the Nona Celebrity Business Award. The awards were presented by Che Puan Mahkota Kelantan Che Puan Sofie Louise Johansson Petra who officiated the ceremony. Also present were Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari and his wife Datin Seri Masdiana Muhamad as well as the Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Ministry chief secretary Datuk Suriani Ahmad.
