Hemanth Jayaraman has been appointed as the Head of Marketing for Malaysia Airlines’ loyalty and travel solutions division.

It is reported that Jayaraman joins the company as the Head of Marketing, aiming Malaysia Airlines’ Enrich programme to increase its membership count by 30% this year from its current four million. In a conversation with A+M last year, a spokesperson from the company said that Enrich is looking to become more of a travel and lifestyle programme, rather than a frequent flyer programme.

As a result, Enrich will continue to form new partnerships with businesses such as hotels in the coming year to provide members with more ways to earn and utilise their points. It is uncertain how closely Jayaraman will engage with the Enrich team.

Glimpse On Hemanth Jayaraman

• 15 years of experience in marketing, brand building, brand management, strategic planning, project management, team building, and corporate establishment based in Malaysia and the ASEAN region.
• Proven track record in driving transformational changes, building organisational capabilities, managing multiple projects, managing partners, agencies, and suppliers as well as efficient P&L management.
• Strong comprehension of business operations to deliver value and in achieving top and bottom-line results and market share gains.
• Believe in using innovative marketing and creative skills as a critical tool for competitive advantage and is central to building successful businesses and brands.
