In that clip, Farid Maulud who is also a politician narrates that he and his wife joined his Chinese friend, helping out preparing vegetarian foods for Indian devotees during this festive.
Not just preparing it, they also have distributed the meals to the public, tourists and most importantly, to those who are celebrating Thaipusam festival.

In his video, Farid stated, “Yes, I am a Muslim, but that does not restrict us from building the ties between people of different races in Malaysia.”
He also emphasized that it was lovely to see even little kids helping with the preparation of the food.
It is just beautiful to witness all three races have joined hands in packing the food together.
“Therefore, let’s refrain from prejudice based on skin colour. We should to strengthen our connections. We are Malaysians after all,” he said.
