Another Malaysian movie is set to grace the big screen.
The Malaysian Indian community rejoices after a long wait, as Aadhitya Arunachalam makes its way to the cinemas nationwide on the 16th of February 2023.
Ganteeban, also known as Ben G, is one of Malaysia’s most well-known local filmmakers. Ben G is recognized to be an incredible storyteller when it comes to crafting ideal narratives involving the Malaysian Indian community along with his ability in handling various genres.
The Tamil action-thriller movie, Aadhitya Arunachalam is directed by the mastermind, Ben G. Aadhitya Arunachalam will be the first movie to be released by Ben G, the man himself in Malaysia. Throughout his career, he predominantly works in Malay, Tamil and English films and various shows. Ben G has been working in this industry for nearly 25 years. He is well-known for his versatility as an actor, scriptwriter, producer, and host not just in Malaysia but also in India.
The film narrates about a police officer who fights to stop a group of youngsters from using drugs.
The cast of Aadhitya Arunachalam includes prominent artists Gaffar, Ben G, Banumathi, Mcva, Aghoderan, Shamini, Lingeswaran, Kogila, Ruben, Vijay, Kavi and more.
The privilege to play the primary lead hero was given to Gaffar, who is well recognized for his endeavors as a restaurant business owner and who is devoted about spreading a message to society. Banumathi, who also co-stars in Astro, is the actress in this movie. In this movie, she made her acting debut as the lead actress.
To sum it all, Aadhitya Arunachalam is the first film directed by Ben G, produced by Dato AK and, Gaffar and Banumathi’s first movie debut as the main lead.
FUN FACT: The songs from Aadhitya Arunachalam are composed by a music director from India and the production work was completed in India.
With much honor, Aadhitya Arunachalam film is produced by Dato AK, one of Malaysia’s entrepreneurs from Klang who assisted greatly during the pandemic. Dato AK has made significant contributions to society and will use a portion of the movie’s earnings to support Malaysia’s Tamil school charity.
Dato AK urges Indians from Malaysia and Singapore to watch this film in theaters and contribute to charities as well.
According to the press statement that the attorney has signed at the press conference, the Tamil Primary School will receive the money raised from the film, and Dato AK is prepared to provide them everything they require.
