The devastating news about the passing of another legendary comedian in the Tamil film Industry left many in shock.
According to the Times of India, comedian Mayilsamy passed away yesterday (19 February 2023), due to a heart attack. Mayilsamy made his acting debut with filmmaker-actor K Bhagyaraj’s ‘Dhavani Kanavugal’ as an actor in the crowd but went on to make a mark for himself in the Tamil film industry. Some of his notable roles include Dhool, Vaseegara, Ghilli, Giri, Uthamaputhiran, Veeram, Kanchana, and Kangalal Kaidhu Sei, for which he won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Comedian.
Not just triggering the fans, but Mayilsamy’s sudden death triggered many actors too. From Veteran actor, Kamal Hassan right to Malayalam star Mammootty tweeted and expressed their condolences on the saddening unexpected loss.
