Did you know, public speaking is more feared than the thought of death for some people? But all of this can be defeated once you unmask your fear and wear the confidence shield. A young Malaysian speaker has demonstrated what is feasible when you overcome the glossophobia.

Proving it once again, Tanusya Manimuttu bagged the FIRST PLACE, coming in as a CHAMPION in the UK based WeVoi Public Speaking Competition for JuniorVoi National category.

For the first national round, this 15-year-old scholar from SMK Damansara Utama shares her thoughts on the theme of “Individually, we are one drop. Together, we are an ocean” with a video presentation.

With this win, she earns a free registration for the WeVoi Global Round and Certificates of Achievement.

WeVoi (We Voice Ideas) is a ground-breaking online public speaking competition for young people eager to voice their ideas and make a change. This challenge provides a platform for speakers aged 9 to 24 to realize their potential, raise their voice, and share it with others.

This is not the very first achievement by the young lass. Previously, Tanusya clinched the 2nd Runner-Up spot at the 6th Canada International Youth Public Speaking and Debate Tournament, which was held virtually on the 22nd of October 2022. Click HERE to read more.

Well, speaking about public speaking, oftentimes we tend to run away from our fears. Instead, you can challenge yourself to face the fears of public speaking and use them as fuel to propel yourself to become a powerful speaker.

Don’t be afraid to speak your mind to the world.

Be the voice of change and let the world hear your powerful thoughts! – WeVoi

Congratulations on acing this competition, Tanusya and all the best on your future venture champ!
