Jeevanandini R Karunagaran Ranks First In The World In ACCA Exams Defeating 107,142 Students

Indeed a remarkable achievement by a fellow Malaysian.

Six Malaysian students who sat for the ACCA December 2022 papers globally, claimed the top spots globally and locally in a several different categories beating 107,142 students with fantastic scores.

ACCA refers to the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and every year, thousands of students would take the exams in hopes of being a certified accountants. But, it is also renowned for being exceedingly difficult to score well!

Among the six outstanding Malaysian students, Jeevanandini R Karunagaran holds the number 1 RANK for Advanced Financial Management. 

According to ACCA qualifications reported by a local newspaper, Sin Chew Daily, some of the top scorers include Lim Hui Ning, who clinched the global #1 spot for Financial Management, and Jeevanandini R Karunagaran who landed the global #1 spot for Advanced Financial Management.

The OSJ Global student, who is also working full-time at Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) said, “I made sure to master each topic thoroughly, and allocated ample time for revision of past year questions. I work full-time in TNB, and juggling full-time work and part-time studies was very challenging.”

However, she had put her heart and mind into it, placed trust in herself and embarked on this challenging journey.

“I had to make sacrifices along the way to ensure I stayed on track towards my goal. The success is indeed very rewarding and fruitful,” she explained.

“ACCA holistically prepares you for all the challenges that are out there in the corporate world. With ACCA, you will be well-equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills that will make you a valuable employee,” the brilliant lass wrapped.

Meanwhile, amongst the Foundation in Accountancy students, Luqman Hirzan Bin Masri, Ahmad Imanul Nor Afandi and Nur Afrina Khairul claimed #1 in Malaysia and globally for the Recording Financial Transactions paper while Muhammad Faris Izzuddin Bin Mohd Ridza ranked first for Management Information.

Excelling like this takes a lot of perseverance and commitment.

Huge kudos to all of these Malaysians for their outstanding academic triumph. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

These brilliant students are the source of inspiration for all the students who would like to embark on their journey in the sphere of ACCA.
