“There is no elevator to success. You have to take the stairs.”

Education is a human right that possess an immense power that could be transformational for the world and also for human beings. It is also important to be resilient because education is an element that we shouldn’t be neglected. With that, a brilliant Malaysian student has to keep on levelling up now to be chosen as a representative of the country.

Representing Malaysia, young lad, Seshugan Rao Sampasiva Rao has been chosen to participate in one of India’s most esteemed Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) programme. The ITEC programme offers fully-funded in-person (or on-campus) ITEC courses at eminent training facilities and higher educational institutes spread throughout India.

Each year, MEA offers a calendar of ITEC Courses on various training themes related to public administration, industry, agriculture, management and entrepreneurship, power/renewable, development studies (rural, urban, sustainable), banking/finance/audit/trade, English language training and law/justice/police administration. Apart from covering the course fees and accommodation expenses, the ITEC scheme also provides one set of excursion/economy class air fare, gratis visa, a living allowance, book allowances, and medical facility. As part of the training, the ITEC scheme also includes an education study tour as an integral part. The study tour serves to familiarize the participants with Indian culture and history.

Isn’t that something we need to be proud of to see our youngsters keep venturing into the education field and stamping a name for themselves? With that being said, let’s continue enlightening our kids about the importance of being educated and show them the right pathway for the future.

We wish you the best & keep reaching new heights in your education sphere, Seshugan!
