Another honour has been added to the impressive musical composer AR Rahman’s career.
Isai Puyal AR Rahman has bagged two awards at the Ananda Vikatan Cinema Award 2023, which was held yesterday (30 March). He won the Best Music Director award for Ponniyin Selvan I and the Best Male Playback Singer award for Marakkuma Nenjam song from Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu movie.
The 55-year-old composer shared this happy news with his fans, sharing a gratitude post on Instagram.
Humble AR Rahman thanked Ananda Vikatan for bestowing him the best music award for the three movies that he helmed as a music director : Cobra, Ponniyin Selvan I, and Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu.
