Prof Dr Santharasekaran Subramaniam Receives An Honorary Scientist Award in Korea

The epitome of unwavering determination, Prof. Dr. Santharasekaran Subramaniam, has been bestowed with a higher accolade at the international level.

Dr. Santharasekaran, the man behind many innovative creations, has been named the recipient of an Honorary Scientist Award in the Field of Innovation and Design in Korea. This is one of the highest awards in the arena of science and technology, specifically green technology, at the global level. His brilliant record has also been published in a special magazine for the South Korea issue for the year 2023.

Hailing from Perak, the founder and president of the Environmental Conservation Association of Malaysia and the Asia Pacific, has been leading many children and adults into numerous environmental activities. Furthermore, the Perakian is actively involved in the effort to develop “Environment Education” in Malaysia and even on to the world stage with the aim of bringing every human being to embody and practice the norms of life based on environmental sustainability.

In addition, this environmental activist has contributed his global-class ideas and design as well as hosting several science, technology and green innovation competitions at local and international levels which ultimately led to his nomination for the award.

Dr. Santharasekaran has also succeeded in shaping young minds from Malaysia and abroad to engage in green science and produced many young creators throughout the span of his excellent career. Despite participating in numerous innovative competitions, this established innovator has also conducted innovative activities and environmental programmes around the world.

Fun Fact about Santharasekaran Subramaniam – Being a Certified International Rudhraksh Master, he has planted more than 1.5 million varieties of trees including 8976 RUDRAKSHA trees overall in Malaysia and globally.

To top it up, Santharasekaran was previously showered with numerous awards for his brilliant contribution and accomplishments. Notably, recently he has been awarded the distinguished ‘Asia’s Noble Professor Award’ by Asia Award, the “International Kalam’s Golden Award” from the Kalam Book of Record (2022), the “Golden Star Excellence Award” by I Star London Limited for his outstanding work in the field of environmental conservation (2022), the Knight Honorary Order “Pro Scientia et Innovatio” award for his contribution in the field of Science and Innovation (2021), “Iconic Leader Award” at the World Education Icon Award (2021), and many more.

His contribution to our nation is laudable. Thank you Prof for being an excellent role model to all youngsters.
