SEA Games 2023: More Medals From The National Karate Squad

The national karate squad sweeps as many medals as they can in the SEA Games 2023.

Unflinching karatekas, who solely contributed FOUR GOLDS in their respective events, keep adding more medals.

Previously, C. Shahmalarani, S. Prem Kumar, Sureeya Sankar, and Sharmendran Raghonathan have each bagged gold medals in their respective karate events. The team of fearless warriors has presented more medals in a variety of karate events.

24-year-old Madhuri Poovanesan bagged a bronze medal in the under 55kg women’s individual kumite event. Next, Malaysia’s female kumite team bagged bronze, while the men’s kumite team secured the silver medal.

For the men’s individual kumite event under 84kg, Muhammad Arif Afifuddin gifted the nation with a bronze medal. Muhammad Aiqal Asmadie won a silver medal in the men’s individual words event.

As of today (May 9), the Malaysian contingent has successfully clinched 10 gold, 13 silver, and 23 bronze medals in the 32nd Southeast Asian Games.
