The unsung heroes in the educational field are the committed teachers who toil endlessly in the background to transfer knowledge towards and motivate the following generation of leaders, intellectuals, and pioneers.

Dr. Palani, who is also affectionately known to his pupils as “Palani Sir,” have been devotedly educating over 4000 student over the past 30 years.

Dr. Palani began his career as a teacher on May 15, 1993. Persatuan Siswazah India Negeri Sembilan (PSINS), which was formed in 1999, was founded by Dr. Palani, who also serves as its president. The main goal of this foundation is to assist underprivileged Indian students in securing admission to local universities upon succeeding their SPM/STPM exams.

Since he was a young child, Dr Palani has wondered, “Why do Indians take public transportation back to the plantation? However, Chinese people drive their own vehicles to return.” He determined to avoid similar circumstances in the future and to achieve the greatest level of success.

Dr. Palani has never stopped educating himself even while focusing on educating his students. Dr. Palani aced his Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of North and his Master’s Degree from University Malaya. With high dicipline and ambitions, Dr. Palani earned his Doctorate in Business Management from the University of Victoria, Switzerland.

With his lofty objectives and dedication, Dr. Palani was able to achieve his dreams of being a lawyer, speaker, and educator. Dr. Palani has experience hearing, ruling on, and disposing of accusations made against children as a panellist for the Juvenile Court and the Industrial Court. At Okumura Metals Malaysia (OMM) Sdn Bhd, where he presently serves as the General Manager (Human Resource), he plans and assesses employee-related policies and procedures.
A great deal of deserving students have received scholarships to further their education under Dr. Palani’s excellent leadership. Dr. Palani helps his students find potential employment opportunities too.

He has also been awarded Anugerah Guru Inspirasi with the nomination of his students.

Dr. Palani is a living proof that the influence of a great teacher extends far beyond the boundaries of the classroom.

“The duties of a teacher are neither dew nor small, but they elevate the mind and give energy to the character.”
– Dorothea Dix
