We’ve got a fantastic news for all youngsters!
The Hindu Society of Universiti Malaya (HiSUM) will be helming HiSUM Kondattam, a celebration of Hindu culture and religion. In conjunction with this celebration, they will be conducting two big programmes: “Navarasa Nadaga Arangam”, an international stage drama competition, and the “National Moral Quiz Competition”.
With this being said, they are pleased to invite the public to join their purposeful and exciting competition.
Navarasa Nadaga Arangam
This competition which is aim to provide a platform for all students who are enthusiastic in acting, will be held physically at University Malaya on the 3rd of June 2023.
This stage drama competition is open to two categories;
[Category A] PTA / IPTS / IPG / Polytechnic / Matriculation students.
[Category B] Public (Local & International), with each group consisting of 3 to 10 people.
The staged play has a stringent 20-minute time limit. Tamil is the main language, however additional languages can be added depending on the play’s requirements. The stage play ought to avoid any explicit or offensive material, and the topic should be appropriate for all audiences. All the participants will receive an e-certificate for their participation.
National Level Moral Quiz Competition
For this national-level competition, the participation fee would be RM 10 per team and is not refundable. This will be held online (Quizizz) from May 26 until May 28, 2023. The qualified teams for the semi-final and final will compete physically at the University of Malaya.
There will be two categories:
[Category A] For secondary schools
[Category B] For IPTA, IPTS, IPG, Polytechnic, and Matriculation
There are 5 rounds for Category A and 5 rounds for Category B. Participants are more than welcome to participate in this competition and stand a chance to win an exciting cash prizes.
