Actor Sarath Babu Passes Away; The Film Industry Mourns the Loss of A Versatile Actor

A devastating loss for the film industry!

Brilliant veteran actor Sarath Babu breathed his last yesterday (May 23) in Hyderabad at the age of 71. According to the hospital where he was admitted, this actor passed away due to multiple organ failures. Sarath Babu was first hospitalised at a private hospital in Bengaluru last month, but his condition deteriorated, and he was then transferred to Hyderabad.

Born in 1951, Sarath Babu started his career as an actor with the 1973 Telugu film Rama Rajyam. Witnessing his incredible acting talent, he then rose to fame when he started receiving film roles alongside superstars like Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Jaishankar, Chiranjeevi, and N. T. Rama Rao.

The close companion of Rajinikanth is also well-known for his roles in Annamalai, Muthu, Mullum Malarum, and Velaikkaran. To date, this versatile actor has appeared in over 200 films in languages such as Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
