Thalaivar fans, are you ready for another movie?
Earlier this year, Superstar Rajinikanth’s Petta won fans over with the mass scenes, punch dialogues and Rajinism in full throttle. Now, fans are rejoicing with the news of another Rajinikanth film in the making. This time around Superstar Rajinikanth will be working with critically acclaimed director AR Murugadoss. AR Murugadoss is known for his films with social messages such as in Thuppakki and Kaththi.
There are speculations that Rajinikanth will be seen in dual roles and Keerthy Suresh and Nayanthara will be starring in it the film too, but there are no confirmations from the film producers yet. Other rumours have it that Rajini will enact the characters of a cop and a social reformer in the film.
Thalaivar 166 is produced Lyca Productions, which funded Rajinikanth’s magnum opus, 2.0. The film will commence shooting on 10 April 2019 in Mumbai.
