Celebrate Father’s Day With A Beach Barbeque At The Ritz-Carlton Langkawi

CELEBRATE FATHER’S DAY WITH A BEACH BARBEQUE AT THE RITZ-CARLTON, LANGKAWI

Followed by a well-deserved spa session

The beach beckons, and a veritable feast of perfectly barbequed items awaits, at The Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi this Father’s Day. Tucked under the leafy trees that line the resort’s private beach, Coco Beach Café sets the scene for a memorable day filled with fine food, laughter, and love.

The culinary team have curated an expansive menu that champions locally sourced produce, which begins with antipasto such as Vitello Tonnato, which originates from the Piedmont region. The dish traditionally consists of finely sliced veal, served in a delectable mayonnaise-like sauce made from tuna, lemon juice, anchovies and capers. Another standout antipasto is Langkawi’s locally-produced Buffalo Ricotta, which is stuffed into Chili for a refreshing appetizer with a kick, and the Signature Mediterranean Hummus, which is accompanied by Langkawian Vegetable Crudités and Lebanese Bread.

Marrying Malaysian’s multicultural heritage is the medley of proteins cooked on the charcoal grill, for that perfectly smoky flavour: Shish Taoul, Shrimp Chermoula, Wagyu Beef with Pommery Mustard, Lamb Kofta, Squid with Chilli and Coriander, Vegetable Skewers, and more. 10 condiments and sauces are provided, from the classes Mint Sauce, to Tahini, to Chimichurri and Pico de Gallo.

A variety of cocktails, craft beer, wine, champagne and of course, fresh coconuts, are available, so guests can recline in at their table – or beanbag – with a refreshing drink in hand.

The evening ends with a cosy beach bonfire, complete with marshmallows for families to roast, while gazing up at the stars that paint Langkawi’s sky.
