If you missed the first two shows earlier this year, guess who’s back! Get ready to witness the magic of Harris Jayaraj once again, this June 17 and 18 at Axiata Arena Bukit Jalil, as the musical maestro will once again grace us all with his entrancing music. Organised by Malik Stream Corporation, who will no doubt knock our socks off at this concert with what we can honestly say is an even more awesome lineup of stunningly talented singers.
Multiple award-winning singer Harini has brought to life many of Harris’s greatest compositions. She started singing at the tender age of 3 and has earned her own place in the hearts of millions of listeners. Her voice has been featured in Aagaya Suriyane, Siru Paarvayale, and Hasili Fisili.
This man has famously lent his voice to Superstar Rajnikanth, so his talent is of no small stature. Tippu has been featured in some of Harris’s classic hits like Venmathi, Oh Mama, Moongil Kadugale, Mudhal Mudhalai, and Ennai Konjam. He has a great capacity to sing both pop and melodic songs.
Haripriya mesmerised everyone at Hearts of Harris 2.0 with a soul-entrancing rendition of Mudhal Kanave. She had the crowd going absolutely wild for Harris’ melodious tune. Listening to Haripriya give her own beautiful version of Poove Vai Pesum Pothu makes one truly believe in the magic of love.
Vishnupriya is an absolute rockstar; her voice is raw and powerful. She had previously sang an incredible rendition of Adiye Kolluthe at Harris’ concert, which greatly moved the crowd. She has worked with big-name music directors like Hiphop Tamizha and Devi Sri Prasad as well.
Another multiple award-winning star singer, Karthik, has lent his beautiful voice to some of the greatest Tamil hit songs of the 2000s. It was the Harris Jayaraj-composed Oru Malai and Hasili Fisili that got him two awards as Best Male Playback at the Filmfare Awards.
Venaam Machan is one the hit kuthu songs that Harris Jayaraj composed with Naresh Iyers soothing voice. Naresh has built a name for himself in not just Tamil music but also in Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannnada. An amazing talented artists who has contributed in variety of musical genres.
Christopher Stanley brings an eccentric personality to every song he sings. He sung the Harris-composed Halena from Iru Mugan, which was a massive hit. His recent song under the composition of Ilayaraja, titled Thee Inbamae, is a must-check-out creation.
When Harris and Krishh come together, all they create are hit after hits. Krishh sung June Poonal, July Kaatre, Manjal Veyil, and Adiye Kolluthe. Harris Jayaraj’s musical compositions come alive with the magnificent voice of Krishh.
Diwakar is a fantastic singer who has worked with composers like A.R. Rahman and Anirudh. It was his distinctive voice that got him to win Super Singer 4. His soulful voice is perfect for Harris melodies.
Haricharan has won many prestigious awards for his enegmatic voice. His work on Vaigaasi Nilave has the power to transport us into another world. A spellbound artist who never fails to challenge his creative abilities.
A singer, rapper, and lyricist Sharmila is a woman with many talents. Many of her greatest works have been with Harris; a few of them are for films like Nanban, Oru Kal Oru Kannadi, Yennai Arindhal, and many more.
Sridhar Sena is an up-and-coming musician who has received a lot of praise for his work on Super Singer 8. He was also featured as one of the Top 25 Zed Tamizh Sa Re Ga Ma Pa competitors. Besides singing, he is also gifted in musical composition.
Aalap Raju is a guitarist and playback singer. He won many awards for the Harris Jayaraj-composed Enamo Aedho, one of which was a Filmfare for Best Male Playback Singer. He works with multiple genres, including rock, jazz, fusion, and pop.
Nicholas is a young and rising star who shows great passion for music. If you don’t already know, he is son to famous music composer Harris Jayaraj. Another quick fact, Hearts of Harris 4.0 is taking place on the 18th of June, which is also coincidentally Father’s Day.
Gautham Vasudev Menon will be a special guest for Hearts of Harris 3.0 & 4.0. This great filmmaker needs no introduction. It’s hard to imagine a GVM film that wasn’t elevated to heaven by Harris’ music. From Kaakha Kaakha to Vaaranam Aayiram to Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyadu, these two really know what artistic expression is all about. It will be really exciting to witness the meeting of these true creative geniuses on stage during the concert.
