Vishnu Vishal, the famed star of Gatta Kusthi and Ratsasan, has recently announced that he will not be a part of D50, the upcoming Dhanush film. There has been many speculations that Vishnu would play a significant role in Dhanush’s 50th film, but unfortunately, due to prior film commitments, the actor has stated via Twitter that he will not be on board D50. Vishnu did not clarify which film in particular he was speaking about in his tweet, but most sources and fans have confirmed that he is indeed talking about D50.
Unfortunately all the rumours which are doing rounds about me being a part of ‘ the movie’ is untrue …

Vishnu Vishal, the esteemed actor of the film Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu, is currently working with superstar Rajinikanth and director Aishwarya Rajinikanth in the cricket-based film Lal Salaam. The film will feature Rajinikanth in an extended cameo role as Moideen Bhai. Vishnu Vishal will be playing a cricketer in the film. The film also features music by the phenomenal A.R. Rahman. Sources state that the film is likely to be released in multiple languages sometime this year.
D50 is an upcoming film that will be both directed and starred in by Dhanush himself and produced by Sun Pictures. This will be Dhanush’s second collaboration with Kalanithi Maran, who previously produced the superhit film Thiruchitrabalam, starring Dhanush. The film’s cast for now has been rumoured to consist of Dhanush, Sundeep Kishen, SJ Suryah, Aparna Bala Murali, and more. Dhanush first made his directorial debut with the film Pa Paandi (2017), featuring veteran stars Rajkiran and Revathi. The poignant film had garnered Dhanush his first ever Filmfare Award for Best Director. D50, his next directorial venture, has his fans riled up to know what magic his direction will bring next.
