Superstar Rajinikanth has just completed the shooting of his 169th film, ‘Jailer’ with director Nelson Dilipkumar. Anirudh is the music director of the film. Fans of Thalaivar are excited for the movie as Anirudh never fails to give us the best in all types of song genre. When he join hands with Nelson who has also given blockbusters previously such as Doctor, it sets high expectation among the fans of Superstar. It is said that this movie will be a fun action drama. Jailer is expected to hit the big screens worldwide on 10th August 2023.
Meanwhile, The Thalaivar is back in action again. He is playing a guest role in his daughter Aishwarya’s film, ‘Lal Salaam’. Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth are playing the key roles in this movie. Lal Salaam centers the lives of three adolescent cricketers. After almost five years away, Aishwarya Rajinikanth is making a comeback to direction. Moreover, Lal Salaam marks as the first collaboration of Rajinikanth with his daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth. This movie is produced by the well known Lyca Productions and will have music score by AR Rahman. The film’s production is currently under progress in Pondicherry.
First Look of Lal Salaam
On 8th of May, the director and Lyca Productions presented the character poster of Rajinikanth for Lal Salaam. It is reported that Rajinikanth will appear in the movie in a cameo as Moideen Bhai. Rajinikanth is portrayed in a fashionable outfit and sunglasses on the first-look poster. He was wearing red kufi cap, and knee long coat called Jubah. The poster received a massive celebration by his admirers. Rajinikanth had played a Muslim character after the movie ‘Baasha’ which had Muslim connection as well.
Glimpse of Baasha
Baasha was released in 1995. Rajinikanth played two different roles in the movie. One was ‘Manik Baasha’ where he will be a gangster in Mumbai and another one is ‘Maanikam’ who was a humble auto driver. On January 12, 1995, Baashha opened to favourable reviews and went on to become one of Rajinikanth’s most financially lucrative movies, playing in theatres for almost 15 months. That movie was one of Rajinikanth’s blockbuster hit and evergreen movie in his career. The songs by music director Deva for the movie rules the playlist of the current young generation as well. Those songs have set a trademark where they will remain as the favourite of every generation. Obviously, the style and acting of Superstar Rajinikanth in the movie justified its blockbuster collection and made his fans to realise that he is Superstar for a reason. As the outcome of his performance, Rajinikanth received the Cinema Express Award and the Filmfans Association Award as Best Actor.

Moving into the hot topic, a video of Rajinikanth taken from the shooting spot of Lal Salaam has became topic of the day. He looks like a perfect Muslim in the video. Rajinikanth is seen dressed up as the character. He is wearing a white kurta, veshti and a kufi cap. In that stylish look, he is with his beard and moustache as well. The video footage captures him walking towards his car where his fans started screaming out of the world in joy after seeing him as the security covers him.
