Leo is Thalapathy Vijay’s upcoming movie directed by our very well known director Lokesh Kanagaraj. This is 67th movie for Thalapathy. After giving a blockbuster movie for Kamal Haasan which is ‘Vikram’, now Lokesh Kanagaraj is working with Vijay. This is the second movie from the combo of Lokesh Kanagaraj and Vijay. ‘Master’ was the first movie from the combo of Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj. It was also a blockbuster hit which received a massive celebration from his fans. The success of the movie has set a high level of expectations for ‘Leo’. Leo is set to hit the big screens on 19th October 2023. Along with Tamil, it is anticipated to be released in dubbed versions of Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi languages. Anirudh is the music director of the movie. This has set the bar even more high among Kollywood fans all over the world. Anirudh is also one of the leading music director in current generation who has a separate fan base. Recently, Anirudh had his concert in Germany which was celebrated by a sea of fans. Thalapathy’s Debut to Instagram
Despite being adored by his followers, the actor has kept a distance from the social media site Instagram for a while now. Fans were impatiently awaiting for him to mark his presence on Instagram, despite the fact that he is active on Twitter. The actor finally made his Instagram platform debut to everyone’s delight. He had set a record by just creating a social media account. Since the actor is well-known for breaking box office records, it is not surprise that his presence on social media will also break records there. Vijay surpassed the one million follower record on Instagram just a few hours after starting his account. For those who are unaware, the famed South Korean boy band BTS holds the record for gaining 1 million followers the fastest, doing so in just 43 minutes, followed by Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie, who achieved the milestone in 59. Within 99 minutes, Vijay became the third celebrity to attain this milestone.
The actor posted a recent snapshot of himself as his debut entry on the well-known social media network. Welcoming to his fans and followers, he wrote, “Hello Nanbas and Nanbis.” The picture was taken on the Leo which is his current project. Vijay had a Twitter account before this, where he engaged with his fans, but he had taken a break from it. Fans can expect that the actor would post more frequently and appear more frequently on social media since he has an Instagram account.
Leo’s First Single
The latest update from the team of Leo is, they are set to release the first single of the movie on 22nd June 2023. The scheduled date bring more joy to the fans as it is the birthday of actor Vijay. Hence, it will double the celebration among his fans. The first single track is titled as ‘Alter Ego Naa Ready’. It was officially announced with a new poster release which blasted on the social media platform.
The introduction of “Alter Ego” has increased anticipation for and speculation about Vijay’s role in the movie significantly. An alter ego, also known as an alternate self, is one that is seen to be separate from a person’s actual or authentic original personality. Alternatively explained, the aspect of a person’s personality that is not typically displayed to others. Thalapathy’s fans are eagerly waiting for the song which will be releasing in two days time.
