Rashmika Mandanna is an up-and-coming heroine who recently starred in the hit Thalapathy film Varisu. She is currently one of the most sought-after stars in Indian cinema and has starred in many blockbuster hits. Rashmika has recently taken the severe decision to fire her long-time manager, who has embezzled nearly Rs. 1 lakh from her. She has been working with this manager since the start of her career, so the betrayal must have definitely come as a shock to the young actress. Rashmika wanted to prevent the situation from being dramatised, so she very privately terminated her manager and is currently handling her own dates by herself.
The 26-year-old actress has created a household name for herself in South Indian cinema. Her dance performance in Jimiki Ponnu had stolen the spotlight, even from the famed Thalapathy Vijay himself. The song has garnered a separate fanbase just for her amazing screen presence and mesmerising dance. She has stated that Thalapathy Vijay was a childhood hero, so working alongside him must have been a dream come true for the budding star. In Tamil cinema, other than Varisu, she has also acted alongside Karthi in the hit film Sulthan.
The Kannadiga actress first rose to fame through the Telugu film Geetha Govindam, in which she starred alongside Vijay Devarakonda as her romantic lead. The film had been a monumental success across the south, which gave great demand to both Vijay and Rashmika, by both Kollywood and Bollywood directors. Their chemistry was so electrifying that they came together as romantic leads for another hit film titled Dear Comrade.
Rashmika is currently shooting Pushba 2 with Allu Arjun. Her noteworthy performance in the song Sammy still remains the talk of the town. Her fans are eagerly waiting for what she has in store for the next installation of this Sukumaran direction. Furthermore, the young actress will also be debuting in Bollywood this year in the Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Animal, which is prepared for release on August 11th.
