He is very gifted, as apart from being able to play instruments, he also learnt how to control the digital audio station and compose for other artistes. I hope he will find success in the music industry.

– K. Mogan, father of Dhieran Mogan

There truly is no limit to how much amazing talent this country possesses. Here is Dhieran Mogan, a young 15-year-old boy who is greatly talented at composing music. The young boy hails from Kuala Lumpur and started learning how to play the guitar when he was 7 years old. He began to learn composing at the tender age of 12. His father, K. Mogan, shares that when he saw his young son play on tempo and find the right key for his songs, that’s when he knew that the kid had a spark of musical talent. Dhieran’s father himself is a musical legend in his own right, having been the lead guitarist for the popular local band, Rpgio. But the young talent doesn’t only play the guitar but is also skilled in playing the thavil, an ancient Tamil percussion instrument, as well as various other instruments like the drum, the keyboard, and the bass.

Dhieran is incredibly blessed to not only possess so much talent but also to be in an environment that would help him develop his artistic talents. The home he grew up in is also a rehearsal and recording studio that many amazingly gifted artists frequent. This interaction with the music industry was a great catalyst to nurture the budding musician laying within the young Dhieran.

At this young age, Dhieran has composed a total of six songs, two of which are advertisements, and the other four are devotional songs. His immense talent had landed him an opportunity to work with some of the most talented stars in Malaysia. He has worked on the song Nee Yen Kolanthe by MC Raaj and also on Poonjoleh by Shantra Brown X Santesh.

The highlight of the young musician’s career so far is winning the 2022 Astro Ulagam Award for his collaboration with Santesh on Shocked. The two share a great bond, and Dhieran even says that his favourite song of Santesh is Jiwang. Dhieran has also performed alongside big names like Darkkey, Hervin, and MC Raaj.

Dhieran will be performing at the upcoming ‘Naamu Beats’ concert alongside many other talented local Tamil artists at the Management and Science University, Shah Alam, on August 12. The budding star says he has dreams of working with Internationally renowned stars like A.R. Rahman and Anirudh.

With a clear vision, dedication, and immense talent, Dhieran has the world as his oyster and can achieve anything he puts his mind to. The young man is a great inspiration to all the young people of today.
