‘Kalvi Maha Yagam’ Conducted By Several Organizations At Ipoh

The Malaysian Indian Youth Council (MIYC) of Perak together with Malaysian Indian Youth Council (MIYC) Buntong branch and Sri Maha Karumariamman Muneeswarar temple, Ipoh organized ‘Kalvi Maha Yagam’ on last Sunday, 18th June 2023. The event took place at Sri Maha Karumariamman Muneeswarar temple, Jalan Falim, Ipoh.

This programme included almost 200 participants including students from primary and secondary schools, university students and youths from Perak. The primary aim of this programme was to benefit the students in the aspect of their education and to receive blessings from the goddess Dewi Sri Maha Saraswathy prior to sit for their final examinations. This was also to give them confidence and motivation to boost their spirit and to ensure that they are aware of the importance of education to a person in this generation as we are living in advanced world. The participants were given piece of guidance on how to choose the correct path to achieve their career goals in life.

Kalvi Maha Yagam was presented by Sami Kakaji, Sri Maha Karumariamman Muneeswarar temple, Jalan Falim, Ipoh, Tn Mathavan, Senior Officer II Ipoh district, Madam Amirthavalli PPPT officer, PUO Ipoh, Mr Santhana, Officer of Community College Gerik, Perak, Mr Tan Teck Yin, Chairman of JCI Kinta and Mr SP. Palani, Head of Unit Malaysian Indian Youth Council (MIYC) Sungai Siput, Perak.

Malaysian Indian Youth Council Buntong appreciated the attendance of everyone which made the program merrier and successful. The support and positive feedback received from the programme encourages the team to conduct more events in the future in order to build an intelligent and successful Indian youths in the society. The organization also never failes to appreciate and show gratitude towards the contribution of the committee members.

They took the opportunity to thank all those souls who believed in them which was the reason for them to move forward till this extend. They also thanked Advanced Technology Training Center (ADTEC) Taiping, Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department Perak, Department of Social Welfare (JKM) District of Kinta, Social Security Organization (PERKESO) state of Perak, Community College Gerik, Perak, Organization for the Development of the Women’s Entrepreneurship and Innovation (PPWKI) Perak, Nritya Kalanjali Dance Academy and Mayanakali Tappu Melam, Batu Gajah for attending this event to make it more memorable. The effort of Malaysian Indian Council should be appreciated.
