Athletics A Healthy Alternative To Drugs, Says Actor Karthi

Actor Karthi is one of the well known Indian actor in Tamil cinema industry. Karthi is the younger son of veteran actor Sivakumar and younger brother of popular actor Suriya. Karthi studied engineering before pursuing a career in acting. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Crescent Engineering College in Chennai and a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from Binghamton University in New York.

Despite his academic credentials, Karthi has always had a fascination for filmmaking and made his acting debut in 2007 with the critically praised Tamil film “Paruthiveeran.” The film, directed by Ameer Sultan, displayed Karthi’s excellent acting abilities and earned him widespread acclaim. His outstanding performance as the character earned him multiple awards, including the Filmfare Award for Best Actor.

Karthi is well-known for his versatility as an actor, having played a variety of parts, including action roles, romantic leads, and intense roles. He has a great screen presence and his performances are frequently appreciated. His ability to adapt to many genres and his dedication to his profession have garnered him an enormous fan base. Karthi went on to star in more popular films after his debut, establishing himself as a bankable actor in the industry. “Aayirathil Oruvan” (2010), “Paiyaa” (2010), “Siruthai” (2011), “Madras” (2014), “Komban” (2015), “Kaashmora” (2016), and “Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru” (2017) are some of his significant films. Recently, Karthi was popularly known by everyone for acting in the epic film “Ponniyin Selvan” which was a commercial blockbuster hit. Karthi was lucky enough to get an opportunity to play the “Vanthiya Thevan” a significant role in “Ponniyin Selvan“. His upcoming project is “Japan” which is expected to be released for this year Deepavali.

Apart from acting, Karthi has also involved himself in social causes and charity work. He actively supports various philanthropic initiatives and has contributed to several charitable organizations. The purpose of him doing this is to make positive impact on society and to lend a helping hand to those in need. Karthi’s involvement with the “Makkal Nala Mandram,” which translates to “People’s Welfare Club,” is one of his prominent humanitarian endeavours. Karthi has been actively working through this organisation to provide critical resources and help to the impoverished parts of society. The club has participated in a variety of charity initiatives, including the distribution of relief materials during natural disasters, the organisation of medical camps in rural regions, and the provision of financial aid for schooling.

In addition to his involvement with “Makkal Nala Mandram“, Karthi has also supported various other charitable organizations. Karthi has sponsored a variety of charitable organisations despite his engagement with “Makkal Nala Mandram“. He has actively participated in awareness campaigns for social concerns such as child welfare, education, and healthcare. Karthi has been involved with organisations that strive to improve the lives of children, including helping to raise and educate poor children. Furthermore, Karthi has been an environmental conservationist and has actively participated in efforts supporting sustainable practices. He has promoted tree planting efforts and encouraged his fans and followers to take an active role in environmental protection such as APJ Dr Abdul Kalam and his follower actor Vivek.

The actor has now addressed the public as part of the Chennai Police Department’s anti-drug campaign. He spoke in front of a large crowd assembled in Chennai Marina Beach about how the age at which adolescents begin using drugs has decreased dramatically. He also encouraged the teenagers to participate in athletic activities to keep them away from bad habits. The actor then told the youngsters that at their age in these generation, they would like to encounter everything to enjoy their teenage life. Teenagers in this advanced world, thinks that they should enjoy and experience everything in order to create best moments during their teenage life. The thought of experiencing the bad habits shouldn’t be applied in this way. There are plenty of ways to enjoy and cherish their young age to turn out as their best of their life journey. In that case, Karthi suggested the teenagers to get into sports as it is one of the best way to spend their free time in a beneficial way which tends to make them healthier as well. He additionally urged the government to support sports in Tamil Nadu. Initiatives to promote sports tournament should be welcomed. Karthi’s speech would have delivered some peace of mind to the teenagers who are the future of our nation.
