Dhanush, whose actual name is Venkatesh Prabhu Kasthuri Raja, is a well-known Indian actor, playback singer, and producer primarily known for his work in Tamil cinema. The great actor has revealed his next move in his career. With the shooting for Dhanush’s portions in filmmaker Arun Matheswaran’s “Captain Miller” nearly completed, the star actor has started working on his second directorial. The untitled film, tentatively titled ‘D50,’ is described as a gangster drama. The film, produced by Sun Pictures, will also include Dhanush in the major role, with his character carrying a shaven head. Earlier this week, the actor toned his hair in Tirupathi temple which went viral on social medias.
Reportedly, SJ Suryah and Sundeep Kishan will play Dhanush’s brothers in D50, while Dushara will play a role as their sister. Aparna Balamurali plays Sundeep’s love interest in the film. Kalidas Jayaram is also believed to be involved in the vengeance drama set in north Chennai. Notably, the film is also being reported to be titled as “Raayan”. The team intends to shoot the film in a single 90-day stretch and wrap it in October. The rest of the cast and crew will be announced in the near future.
