Sathish, the popular Tamil actor known for his comedic roles in Tamil cinema. is an Indian actor who predominantly works in Tamil films. He gained fame for his natural flair for comedy and impeccable timing, which endeared him to the audience. For eight years, Sathish worked in Crazy Mohan’s theatrical company, polishing his histrionics and acting skills while also assisting Crazy Mohan compose dialogue for his productions and acting in their stage play “Chocolate Krishna.” A. L. Vijay hired him as a co-dialogue writer for Poi Solla Porom (2008) before casting him in Madrasapattinam (2010), but his film debut was in Jerry (2006), when he played a minor role named Fariq in two frames with no dialogue. He made his big screen debut in “Ethir Neechal” (2013), co-starring with Sivakarthikeyan. His next major appearance was as Sandy, an IT specialist, in AR Murugadoss’s “Maan Karate” (2014). He had a significant role in “Kaththi” (2014), which starred Vijay as the lead role.
Some of his notable films include “Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara,” “Maan Karate,” “Thangamagan,” “Remo,” “Velaikkaran,” and many more. Sathish often played the sidekick or friend to the lead actor and provided comic relief in the movies. He was honoured with awards for Best Comedian category for the films “Kaththi” (2014), “Thangamagan” (2015) and Remo (2016). He made his lead acting debut in “Naai Sekar” (2022). Sathish has picked a good script and delivered a strong performance as the story’s protagonist.
The actor is set to give another movie. His second movie as hero is titled as “Vithaikkaaran”. The official teaser for the film was released, and it features Sathish in the title character of a magician. The 1.5-minute video shows a man teaching magic to two children and smugglers losing gems worth Rs 25 crore to airport officials. The plot centres around Sathish, who is given a job to reclaim the jewels using his expertise. He appears to be in style to play a magician plotting a heist.
Sathish, Simran Gupta, Anandraj, Madhusudhan, Subramaniam Siva, John Vijay, Pavel Navageethan, Japan Kumar, and many others appear in Vithaikkaran. Venki wrote and directed the film, which was produced by White Carpet Films. VBR composed the music, Yuva Karthick shot the film, and Arul Elango Siddharth edited it. Looking at the teaser, the movie is much anticipated.
