Thaman, who previously provided chartbuster songs for Thalapathy Vijay’s Varisu, has recently opened up the release date of the film’s OST( Original Soundtrack), and the tracks will be out on August 15, 2023.
By providing an update on Varisu, Thaman has enthused his audience, and they are now excitedly anticipating the new edition of Thalapathy Vijay’s blockbuster hit. There will be 25 quality songs on the Varisu OST, and is to prove his skills with the energetic music for the Vijay starrer.
Varisu, starring Thalapathy Vijay, was released on Pongal last year, in 2022. The family drama became an instant sensation after earning more than Rs 310 crore, becoming the lead actor’s highest-grossing film.
Thaman scored the music for Varisu to collaborate with Vijay for the first time in his career. A few songs from the album made the list of the top 10 songs of 2023, and the vivacious composer gave it his all.
But the original soundtrack of the film has not been released yet, and this has made fans wait longer for the background music track. However, Thaman has now officially announced the release date of the Varisu OST.

As the Varisu OST is planned to be released on August 15, it’s going to be a double update for Thalapathy Vijay fans on Independence Day, as an update from the actor’s next release, Leo, is already locked by the makers for the same day.
