SJKT Ladang Sungai Muar’s Historic Win At The District Cross-Country Championship

The Segamat District recently held its inter-school Under-12 cross-country competition on July 30. This event that took place in SJKT Batu Anam was inaugurated by Mr. Roslie bin Puteh, the Segamat District Deputy Education Officer. A total of 85 primary schools, with 230 male students and 229 female students, participated in this competition. For the first time in the school’s history, SJKT Ladang Sungai Muar won the much-deserved overall title in this wonderfully organised competition.

The brilliant and dedicated students of SJKT Ladang Sungai Muar won exceptional awards in this championship, making not only their school but the entirety of Tamil schools nationwide immensely proud of their incredible hard work and commitment to excellence. A total of six outstanding students from SJKT Ladang Sungai Muar participated in this competition, and all of them equally devoted their entire strength to making their school proud.

In the Girls Under 12 Category, SJKT Ladang Sungai Muar’s team was awarded as the overall winners because of the phenomenal performance of their students. Out of 229 competing female students from 85 schools, Rubhaana Mathevan won the coveted title of first place in the entire Girls Under 12 Category District championship. While Ashalata Balakrishnan won the prestigious 3rd place and Asitha Shanker won the 16th place,

For the Boys Under 12 category, three amazing students have trained and thoroughly applied their skills to succeed in this district-level cross country championship. In competing against 230 male students, Tassvin Siva came in fifth place, Yuvaraj Paaneer Selvan came in 16th place, and Dhaarshan Lactna came in 18th place. At such a young age, these young students prove that with conviction and proper discipline, anything can be achieved.

Mrs. Prema Ramakirisnan, the headmistress of this exceptional educational institute, has expressed her outmost pride and congratulations towards the hard work of the students and the collective commitment of the teachers, Mr. Navindra Arul Shanthiran and Mr. Nalamaran, who had taken on the great responsibility of training these young minds to achieve this amount of success in the competition.

Along with them, the headmistress also expresses gratitude for the mutual labour of all the passionate teachers of SJKT Ladang Sungai Muar, the loving and supportive parents who have devoted uncompromising aid to the school and students, as well as the Parents Teachers Association and the School Board of Trustees, who have all placed the accomplishment and advancement of their students as an outmost priority.

SJKT Ladang Sungai Muar is an education institute that proves that with unyielding discipline, one can materialise their dreams into mountains of success. It is crucial for Tamil schools to constantly prove how exemplary and extraordinary they are at producing distinguished students, for it is a source of pride for students nationwide to follow in the footsteps of these successful future leaders.
