Stephen Zechariah is a music composer, singer and talented actor as well. He began performing music as a drummer at an early age. At the age of 17, he began playing the keyboard and soon began writing and composing his own tunes.

The songs features Suriavelan and Rupini who is Suriavelan’s wife. The songs were continuation from one to another which are “Usuraiye Tholaichen”, “Sagiye” and “Vilagaathey”.
Notably, “Naam” Season 1, a series about the life of six musicians, was a blockbuster hit which became the limelight across the globe. Especially “Adi Penne” song by Stephen and Super Singer fame Srinisha Jayaseelan from “Naam” season 1 reached millions and millions of views. It received a wide celebration. Moreover, the songs were telecasted in India channels as well. The series of “Naam” was telecasted in Astro also.
Hence, Stephen Zechariah attended last week’s “Super Singer Junior” season 9 as chief guest. It was his first international television programme. “Super Singer” is a well known singing competition hosted by Vijay Television. Most of the Malaysians and people from other countries watch the show regularly for years. Many popular celebrities will be invited to the show as special guest. In that case, Stephen Zechariah was the chief guest in yesterday’s(Sunday) episode.
It was a huge surprise for his fans. His humble and down to earth presence caught the attention of everyone. Stephen sang two of his popular songs which are “Kannoram” and “Adi Penne” along with Srinisha which mesmerized the set of Super Singer. Added surprising element was the crowd got an opportunity to witness and listen the evergreen “Thenpaandi Cheemaiyile” in the voice of Stephen Zechariah that stunned the crowd for a moment looking at the talent of this man.
