Dhanush’s next film will be with the highly acclaimed Telugu director Sekhar Kammula. This will be the award-winning actor’s 51st film in his career. Currently, Dhanush’s Captain Miller is awaiting release on this year’s December 15th, and the team just released a teaser for the film that has received wide praise. For D15, it has recently been announced that Rashmika Mandanna will be starring with the actor as his romantic pair.
Dhanush is also currently working on his second directorial venture, tentatively titled D50. The film has been revealed to be produced by Sun Pictures and has music rumoured to be scored by A. R. Rahman.
Along with Rashmika Mandanna, D51 has been said to be a multi-starrer film, with some sources stating that Nagarjuna Akkineni and Sai Pallavi may be starring in this film.
Rashmika has been seen to express a lot of happiness in her tweet, where she revealed that she was onboard the film. Rashmika is a young actress who has won several accolades for her work. Her most notable awards are the SIIMA Awards, Zee Cine Awards, and Filmfare Awards South, all in the category of Best Actress.
Rashmika has starred along with Vijay in the film Varisu, which was one of the highest-grossing Tamil films of all time. She has also acted in the films Sulthan alongside Karthi and in Allu Arjun’s massively successful Pushpa: The Rise. She will be reprising her role once more for the second installation of Pushpa.
The young actress had gotten to fame through the Telugu films Geetha Govindam, in which she starred opposite Vijay Deverakonda. Rashmika is also signed to act in a Bollywood film, Animal, opposite Ranbir Kapoor.
