Director Shankar Shanmugam, widely known as Shankar, is a prominent Indian filmmaker celebrated for his visionary storytelling, larger-than-life visuals, and groundbreaking approach to cinema. With a career spanning over three decades, Shankar has left an indelible mark on the Indian film industry and has garnered a global fanbase. Today marks the 60th birthday of S Shankar, one of the most successful filmmaker in Tamil cinema’s history.
