The movie was screened in 150 theaters in Malaysia which was the most number of cinemas for a movie in the history of Malaysian theaters. There were massive celebrations in all over the places.
The Superstar who gave a power packed performance, departed to his favourite destination which is “Himalayas” for his spiritual journey. He was very happy that finally he got an opportunity to resume his spiritual journey after four years of long gap. He returned to Chennai on the 23rd August. Recently, Rajinikanth celebrated the success of “Jailer” along with the crew of the movie. The event was attended by Superstar Rajinikanth himself , Nelson, the director of the movie, Anirudh who is the composer of the movie, members from direction and production unit. They had a cake cutting to make the event merrier.
Sun Pictures had confirmed that “Jailer” has collected 525 crores worldwide on its day 16. Notably, the movie is the highest grossing film United States of America. In Malaysia, the movie has successfully reached box office collection of RM13 Million which sets “Jailer” as the highest grossing Tamil movie in Malaysia.
