Director Mohan Raja and actor Jayam Ravi had officially announced that the mass film “Thani Oruvan” will be returning to the big screens with its sequel. “Thani Oruvan 2″ announcement was made on the occasion of 8th year anniversary of “Thani Oruvan“. Jayam Ravi, Aravind Swamy, Nayanthara, Ganesh Venkatraman, Nassar and many other popular artists played lead role in “Thani Oruvan“. The movie was directed by Mohan Raja and music scored by Hiphop Tamizha Adhi.
The collaboration between Mohan Raja and Jayam Ravi is a successful combo that has produced some of the most notable and impactful films in the Tamil film industry. Notably, Siddharth Abhimanyu had died in the climax of “Thani Oruvan“. But, the announcement promo began with the question “Siddharth Abhimanyu can’t be replaced?” has given a twist to the audience. This has sparked discussions and rumors regarding Siddharth’s potential return in “Thani Oruvan 2″.
Meanwhile Mohan Raja has affirmed that “Thani Oruvan 2” maintains a connection with its predecessor, which many fans might have overlooked in the 2015 release. Consequently, there’s speculation that Aravind Swamy could make a brief appearance in the sequel, or that significant elements from the first installment will be revisited to establish a cohesive link between the two films.
