Vanishaantini MM Pellayrameas, a 27-year-old entrepreneur hailing from Seremban, has achieved the prestigious title of Mrs Malaysia World 2023. Mrs Malaysia is a respected beauty pageant that celebrates the intelligence, talent, and grace of married Malaysian women. Contestants compete for titles like Mrs Malaysia World, representing the nation on the global stage. It provides a platform for accomplished women to shine and make positive contributions to society.
Vanishaantini, who is married to a dentist, secured RM10,000 in cash, received a jewelry set valued at RM25,000, and earned an all-inclusive trip to represent Malaysia at the upcoming Mrs. World competition which will be happening in Las Vegas. The event is scheduled to take place from January 14th to 21st next year.
“She is set to take on contestants from over 60 countries in the prestigious Mrs. World pageant. This renowned competition, exclusively for married women, is not only the oldest of its kind but also holds the distinction of being the first”, said Datin Harveen Kaur, who serves as the national director of Mrs. Malaysia World and is the managing director of Mrs. Malaysia World Sdn Bhd.
During the Mrs Malaysia World 2023 pageant, which occurred on Sunday, September 3, the first runner-up position was claimed by Laxmi Baker, a 44-year-old TV producer, presenter, and singer from Ipoh. In the same competition, the second runner-up title went to Nerin Kaur, a 31-year-old digital marketer from Kuala Lipis, Pahang, while Dr. Malini Karupiah, a 44-year-old sports medicine doctor from Ipoh, secured the third runner-up position.
Sargam Koushal, the reigning Mrs World 2022 from India, graced the occasion with her presence. Harveen Kaur noted that 2023 signifies the fifth year of existence for Mrs Malaysia World Sdn Bhd. The establishment of the company dates back to 2018 and was initiated by Dr. Kattayat Mohandas, a distinguished anaesthetist based in Kuala Lumpur.
Beauty pageants like Mrs Malaysia World often celebrate not only physical beauty but also intelligence, talent, and community involvement. Winning such a title can be a significant achievement, and it usually comes with responsibilities and opportunities to represent the country on an international stage.
