Kamal Hassan’s upcoming film will be directed by H. Vinod and is tentatively titled KH233. The film, which was previously said to be based on a theme about farmers and the agrarian system, is now said to be a narrative that revolves around a military plotline and will fall into the action drama genre.
The film will be shot in various international locations beginning sometime in the middle of October. It has been stated that an additional two renowned actors will be joining the cast, the details of which will be revealed at a later time. Kamal Hassan has also confirmed a film with director Mani Ratnam; the project is currently titled KH232.
Kamal Hassan has seen a great resurgence in his career ever since the massive success of Vikram. The accolades the film won were hugely indebted to the directorial talent of Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film featured Kamal Hassan alongside the phenomenal talents of Fahadh Faasil and Vijay Sethupathi, who, along with the veteran actor, gave a tremendously captivating and unforgettable performance.
Kamal Hassan has also finished shooting for his next film, which is Indian 2, a sequel to director Shankar’s 1996 blockbuster hit film Indian. The film is currently in post-production and will be released in the second half of 2024.
