Thalaivar 171: Lokesh Kanagaraj Has Begun Work For The Film

Lokesh Kanagaraj, one of the most sought-after directors in Kollywood, is currently preparing to shoot for Rajnikanth’s next film. This will be the first time the actor and director will be collaborating together on a film, which is currently tentatively titled Thalaivar 171.

Rajnikanth has recently received an astounding amount of success through his film Jailer, which was directed by Nelson and had ground-breaking music composed by Anirudh. The film has become one of the highest-grossing Tamil films of all time.

As for Lokesh, the famed director is in the midst of releasing Leo, which stars Vijay and also has music by Anirudh. The film is set to premiere worldwide on October 19 and has a stellar cast that consists of Mansoor Ali Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Mysskin, Jaffer Sadiq, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and many more amazingly talented actors.

Lokesh’s films’ Kaithi, Vikram, and Leo are collectively known as the Lokesh Cinematic Universe, which is based on the idea that the films take place in the same shared, interconnected plotline. It has been stated that there will be a Kaithi 2, Vikram 2, and a stand-alone film for Rolex, Surya’s character, which appears in Vikram, that is planned to be made in the near future.
