It has been reported that Telugu actor Allu Arjun and the famour Tamil director Nelson have met recently, and it has been hinted that the two might collaborate on a film in the future.
Allu Arjun had praised Nelson for his way of filmmaking, as Nelson is still basking in the glorious success of his Rajinikanth film, Jailer, which is currently one of the highest grossing Tamil films of all time. Allu Arjun himself has recently been awarded the National Film Award for Best Actor for his performance in Pushpa: The Rise.
Pushpa 2: The Rule is currently undergoing filming and will be released on August 15, 2024. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna as its main female lead, while the critically acclaimed Fahadh Faasil will reprise his role as the film’s titular antagonist.
As for Nelson, the director has received massive praise for the unprecedented success of the film Jailer, which features some of the most exciting and exhilarating action thriller sequences in Kollywood. The film was also celebrated for its astonishingly amazing cameo sequences that featured Kannada superstar Shivanna and the Malayali powerhouse Mohanlal alongside Rajinikanth.
