According to Usheyta, their has been preparing for this competition for the past year, and the last step before the finals is to win the national championship held online last December and they won the gold medal. She also added that there are 4 categories: knowledge test, writing challenge, spelling bee and public speaking.

She said they will try their best to bring home gold medals this time in each category in the finals, just like they won the national championship.

Meanwhile, PEISB chief executive Saiful Azzuan Aznam donated RM10,000 to the respective schools to fund participants’ travel throughout the finals.
