Students of Tamil schools have achieved more in recent days. Our young Tamil students achieve regularly from Malaysia Book of Records to Guinness World Records to Asian-level achievements. This makes us all part of this society to share pride with these students.

Among these records, a new student with excellent performance in the Prime Minister’s Bowl national Malay speech competition is currently participating. The competition is mainly organized, for students of Tamil and Chinese schools. Little girl Tarani d/o Subramaniam, a fourth-standard student of SRJK (T) Kamunting, won the first prize in the competition. Fun fact, little Tarani is the daughter of Subramaniam Ramanathan, a member of the Taiping Urban Development Corporation.

Director SRJK (T) Kamunting, Mrs. Uma Devi Rengasamy expressed gratitude to little Tarani who won the competition earlier at Larut Matang Selama district level and then Perak state level and now she won at the national level that were held at Perlis, this only adds to pride of the school and society.

Little Tarani is the perfect example of how today’s students can transform their talents and potential while making outstanding progress in a field in which, as an outsider, thinking that they would not even care, if were willing to support and help them with the help that they need to improve their skills, they can become extraordinary.

Ultimately, we should reward young Tamil students for achieving more for the society and indirectly making our society respected in all aspects.
