Shahmalarani Chandran is a Malaysian karate prodigy who competed in many matches before making it to the Asian Games. She is an actuarial science graduate and aspiring teacher who breaks conventional stereotypes with grace and confidence that every young woman aspires to emulate. Even though she was defeated in the game, she was determined to fight to the maximum in the world championship.
She mentioned that her goal is to win a medal at the World Karate Championships to be held in Budapest from the 24th to the 29th of this month. Shahmalarani also said that she failed to qualify for the final of the Asian Games held in Hangzhou, China after losing to June Suu Kyi from Philippines.
I am seriously preparing for the World Championships, taking the Asian Games defeat as an experience.
It is a proof that we, as a society, better understand extracurricular activities, helping people know their full potential and allowing them to explore more fields.
