SJKT Ladang Lanchang is a government Tamil school located in Mentakab Pahang. This school has received funding from Arvind Appalasamy, the Indians Welfare Special Officer for Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi to store more books in their school library. The purpose of this funding is to enhance the library’s capacity for housing a greater collection of books, thereby providing valuable educational resources to the students and promoting literacy within the school.

Mr. Arvind Appalasamy highlights that the government’s commitment extends beyond the physical development of Tamil schools. In addition to improving infrastructure, there is a strong emphasis on elevating the academic standards and academic quality within the Tamil school system in Malaysia.

This multifaceted approach underscores the comprehensive efforts to enhance the learning experience for students, ensuring that they receive a well-rounded education that empowers them for a brighter future. Despite, academic books, the students should also read other books  or reading materials such as storybooks, newspapers and magazines in order to enhance their general knowledge, learn something new and interesting.

Incorporating such reading materials into the students’ educational experience not only broadens their knowledge but also makes learning a more engaging and enjoyable process. It encourages them to explore new interests, nurtures their critical thinking skills, and instills a lifelong passion for learning, ensuring that education goes beyond the classroom and into the world at large.
