Mitra has granted RM 10.8 million to 167 kindergartens around Malaysia. It is a member of the Malaysian Ministry of Education’s B40 Category Private Kindergarten Primary Education Subsidy Scheme. Mitra Special Task Force Chairman Datuk  Ramanan stated that this is one among 12 unique projects that Mitra has planned for this year.

Sungai Buloh Member of Parliament Datuk Ramanan paid a visit to Cinta Ilmu Bakti Kindergarten, which is located at Block C, Apartment Harmoni, Damansara Damai, this morning to oversee the execution of the Private Kindergarten Primary Education Subsidy Scheme and the Ministry of Education Malaysia.

The RM200 per kid per month stipend covers kindergarten fees and breakfast for 12 months for 4,441 children attending 167 kindergartens. This initiative has received a total grant of RM10.8 million. Every kid in the B40 group will get grant support in the form of a monthly fee of RM150 and a food subsidy of RM2,400 under this grant program.

The organization has also conducted a screening procedure based on certain criteria to guarantee that children in the B40 group are eligible for this scholarship. Mitra will guarantee that the delivery process is well-managed and organized. Monitoring measures will be deployed on an as-needed basis.

According to Mitra’s official Facebook page, the list of kindergarten award beneficiaries will be published on the official Mitra website. Mr. Balakrishnan Kuppusamy, Principal of Cinta Ilmu Bakti Kindergarten, and the instructors were also present. Cinta Ilmu Bakti will receive a total award of RM72 thousand under the grant system for a one-year term including 30 youngsters.

Datuk Ramanan also spent time making friends with kindergarten students. The organization also joined them for the grant-provided brunch. The youngsters were joyful, laughing, and had time to communicate their innermost thoughts with Datuk Ramanan.

The important thing is that we help the groups that need help. This is Mitra’s purpose and goal. The process of empowerment starts from the educational aspect. That’s why at Mitra, we pay more attention to the pre-school to education sector.

He also mentioned that he will make certain that all help is supplied on time. Mitra is also the greatest working group for process monitoring. He stated that they are offering laptop support to Tamil schools around the country as well as funding for B40 students to attend undergraduate courses at public and private institutions.
