A remarkable achievement has been made by Jeimithra Vasagam, a 3-year-old kid, leaving us all in awe. This extraordinary young talent has etched her name into the prestigious Malaysia Book of Records for ‘Most International Flags Identified By A Child In 1 Minute’. Her incredible accomplishment highlights her exceptional memory and knowledge of international flags, setting her apart as a truly exceptional young talent.
Jeimithra Vasagam, aged 3, is the proud elder sister of Vikramachola Vasagam, who is 2 years old. Her mother, Dr. Mathi Vathani and Manickavasagam, her father are proud of their child’s achievement at such a young age.
This achievement serves as a powerful testament to Jeimithra’s exceptional memory capabilities, which is particularly remarkable given her young age. It is an indication of her ability to retain and recall a significant amount of information, specifically, the international flags, at an age when most children are still developing their basic cognitive skills.
When we got close up with Jeimithra’s mother, she said that
Even before she began to speak, I made it a night practice to sing “Uyir Eluthu” songs, the ABCD song, and numerical songs to her before bedtime. As she started to develop her speech, it became evident that she could effortlessly sing these songs. It’s quite remarkable how quickly and easily she can memorize and retain whatever is presented to her.
She also shared how she trained Jeimithra to learn and identify the countries as follows
Before she began to speak, I would engage her by asking her to point to the flags as I mentioned them. As she started to develop her speech, I gradually encouraged her to pronounce the names of the flags.
Jeimithra consistently exhibits a preference for educational toys over other playthings. Her inclination towards educational toys suggests a strong interest in activities that stimulate her intellect, foster problem-solving skills, or encourage her to explore and acquire new knowledge.
This young kid also possesses an exceptional talent for playing the piano, making her the youngest pianist to perform one-on-one. When she enrolled in kindergarten, her remarkable memory and rapid learning abilities led to her placement in the class meant for 4-year-olds.
We submitted our application to the Malaysia Book of Records via mail. A senior advisor promptly got in touch with us and scheduled an appointment for the record attempt. The application window was quite brief, lasting only a single minute.
The senior advisor visited our home equipped with a video camera and a timer. During the given time, Jeimithra Vasagam impressively identified a total of 44 flags.
In a triumphant moment, she secured her place in the Malaysia Book of Records for her outstanding feat of identifying 44 flags in just one minute, and this achievement was officially recognized on October 3, 2023.
Jeimithra will be moving to India at the age of 11 to continue her education until she completes her academic journey. Her parents is set to give her the freedom to choose her desired profession without imposing any specific career path.

While we are content with our current achievements, a deep sense of fulfillment has yet to be realized as we have set our sights on attaining a Guinness World Record.
